About
Deb is a registered psychologist and Clinical Registrar. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and older adults across a range of settings. Her training and early career have included roles at Monash Health, Psychs in Schools, and The Cairnmillar Institute, where she supported individuals with a wide range of mental health presentations across the lifespan. She has experience working with a range of emotional and behavioural presentations including anxiety and depression as well as social, school, and academic issues.
As a parent herself, Deb values working collaboratively with parents, offering practical and supportive evidence- based strategies to support both children and families. Deb’s preference is to draw on various approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness as indicated by the client and/or clinical factors and to remain trauma informed.
