These are undertaken by the individual and, where appropriate, by parents and teachers to help build a thorough understanding of the learning context.
Comprehensive Report Writing
A detailed report documents assessment outcomes, identifies learning strengths and areas for growth, and provides recommendations for academic support strategies.
Tools Utilised in the Learning Assessment
- WISC-V / WPPSI-IV Tests: These tests measure cognitive capabilities in children (aged 2+) and adults, providing valuable insights into reasoning, memory, and processing speed.
- WIAT-III: This academic tool measures skills in reading, written and oral expression, and mathematics from preschool through secondary school.
- BASC-3 Questionnaires: These tools provide a behavioural and emotional profile from the perspectives of teachers, parents, and the individual, offering valuable insights into factors influencing academic performance.

Appointment Booking Process
Initial Appointment (50 minutes)
This appointment is for adults or the parents of children undergoing assessment. The fee for this appointment is $300 and may be claimable through Medicare or Private Health Insurance.
Assessment Confirmation
Following the initial appointment, we confirm the appropriate assessments and provide a detailed fee structure. The assessment fee, which includes report writing, varies depending on the required tests.
Assessment Appointments
These appointments are where the formal assessments are carried out. During this session, the clinician guides the individual through a series of standardised tests and provides them with access to online questionnaires designed to gather relevant information for the evaluation.
Feedback Appointment (50 minutes)
The assessment concludes with a feedback appointment at which a detailed report is provided. This session, priced at $300, may also be claimable through Medicare or private health insurance.
