A Series of Assessment Appointments
Multiple sessions are conducted to support a thorough and consistent assessment of academic strengths and challenges.
Thorough Questionnaires
These are filled out by the individual and, where applicable, by parents and teachers to provide a well-rounded understanding of the learning context.
Comprehensive Report Writing
A thorough report summarises assessment outcomes, identifies learning strengths and areas for development, and recommends strategies to support academic progress.
Tools Utilised in the Learning Assessment
- WISC-V / WPPSI-IV Tests: These tests evaluate cognitive capabilities in children (aged 2+) and adults, offering insights into reasoning, memory, and processing speed.
- WIAT-III: This academic tool measures skills in reading, written and oral expression, and mathematics from preschool through secondary school.
- BASC-3 Questionnaires: These tools deliver a behavioural and emotional profile from the perspectives of teachers, parents, and the individual, providing valuable insights into factors that may influence academic performance.

How to Book
Initial Appointment (50 minutes)
This appointment is for adults or the parents of children undergoing assessment. The fee for this appointment is $300 and may be claimable through Medicare or Private Health Insurance.
Assessment Confirmation
After the initial appointment, we confirm the most suitable assessments and provide a detailed fee structure. The assessment fee, which includes report writing, will vary depending on the required tests.
Assessment Appointments
These are the appointments where the formal assessments take place. During each session, the clinician guides the individual through a series of standardised tests and gives them access to online questionnaires designed to collect detailed information relevant to the evaluation.
Feedback Appointment (50 minutes)
The assessment concludes with a feedback appointment where a detailed report is provided. This session, priced at $300, may also be claimable through Medicare or Private Health Insurance.
