Ebony D'Argenio

Registered Psychologist

About

Ebony is a Registered Psychologist who completed her studies in the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology program at Monash University. She loves to work with children, young people, and families and is passionate about supporting them through developmental challenges. With clinical experience across a range of different contexts, such as The Royal Children’s Hospital, schools, and private practice, Ebony has experience working with and assessing a range of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties including anxiety, low mood and depression, trauma, grief and loss, and more. Ebony is also passionate about supporting neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals including those who are autistic, ADHD, or who have a specific learning disorder (SLD) or intellectual disability. 


In her work with clients, Ebony adopts a person-centred, strengths-based approach while incorporating evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and positive psychology to empower individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals. Ebony values working in collaboration with her clients, their families, and support networks to help her clients achieve their full potential.  

Qualifications

Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) 

Graduate Diploma of Psychology 

Memberships

Registered Psychologist – Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Full Member – Australian Psychological Society (APS)

Hours

Ebony consults the following hours:

Mondays 2pm - 7pm 

Tuesdays 2pm - 7pm 

Thursdays 9am - 5.30pm
