Fees

Clinical Psychologists: $300 for a 50 minute consultation 

Registered Psychologists: $290 for a 50 minute consultation 

Registered Counsellor/Creative Arts Therapists: $210 for a 50 minute consultation 

Patients are not required to have a referral in order to see one of our psychologists. Although, if you would like to receive a Medicare rebate patients will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan and referral letter from their GP. Patients are unable to receive a Medicare rebate for creative arts therapy. 

Please note Medicare will rebate 10 sessions per calendar year in the following structure: 

MHCP 6 sessions, MHCP Review 4 sessions

TT Psychology is able to directly claim patient rebates upon payment. 

Please see table below of the potential rebates that can be received for our services. Please note, all fees are processed in full and then a rebate may be claimed if eligible. Patients need to claim themselves with private health insurance and NDIS. Please note patients cannot claim the same service with multiple providers. 

Clinical Psychologists

- Medicare rebate with a valid Mental Health Care Plan for a 50 minute appointment is $141.85

- Private Health Insurance may provide rebates (please confirm rebates with your fund)

- NDIS may provide rebates (please confirm rebates with NDIS)

Registered Psychologists

- Medicare rebate with a valid Mental Health Care Plan for a 50 minute appointment is $96.65

- Private Health Insurance may provide rebates (please confirm rebates with your fund)

- NDIS may provide rebates (please confirm rebates with NDIS)

Registered Counsellor/Creative Arts Therapists

- Private Health Insurance rebates may be available for patients with GU Health 

- There is no Medicare rebate currently available

- NDIS may provide rebates (please confirm rebates with NDIS)

Assessment fees range between $1,360 - $5,500 depending on the testing you require. To read more about booking an assessment click here. 

If you require a letter or report written (this includes special consideration forms) please send a written request to info@ttpsych.com.au. These will incur fees with no Medicare rebate, these fees will be confirmed based on the request. 

School meetings and meetings with a group of a patient's health professional team incur a fee with no Medicare rebate. This may include in person and telehealth meetings and phone calls regarding the patient. These fees will be confirmed based on the request. 

TT Psychology has a 48 hour business day cancellation policy.

Appointments can be cancelled via phone or email only, appointments cannot be cancelled via text message. A late cancellation fee will be incurred for cancellations made within 48 hours, a non-attendance fee will be incurred for patients who fail to attend their appointments. These fees will be processed from the patient's card on file. 

Patients must contact us via email or phone by 3pm on a Friday for cancellations on a Monday or Tuesday. All emails and voicemails received after 3pm on a Friday and any time over the weekend will be charged as a 'morning of appointment' cancellation.
