Sensory Profiling Assessment Elsternwick

We are pleased to welcome Nicole Smolyar, an experienced Occupational Therapist at TT Psychology who specialises in sensory profiling assessments.

Nicole works with children, adolescents, and adults to better understand how they experience and respond to sensory information in everyday life. She takes a warm, practical, and collaborative approach, helping individuals and families gain clarity and implement meaningful strategies that support day-to-day functioning and wellbeing.

What is Sensory Profiling?

An occupational therapy sensory profile helps to understand a person’s unique sensory preferences and how these impact their daily functioning. It also provides practical, individualised strategies to better manage sensory input. This may include sensitivities or differences related to sound, touch, movement, visual environments, taste and smell, as well as body awareness and coordination. While everyone processes sensory information differently, for some individuals these differences can significantly affect emotional regulation, attention, behaviour, and participation in school, work, and social settings.
