Vanessa is a compassionate psychologist, who enjoys helping individuals across their lifespan. Drawing upon her expertise in psychology and advanced mental health practice, she is dedicated to enhancing their overall wellbeing and development to lead healthy and happy lives.
Having worked in community, private and school settings, she has the clinical training to assist children, adolescents, adults, and families overcome a diverse range of challenges to thriving. Grounded in evidence-based practices from numerous therapeutic modalities, her personalised therapeutic approach creates a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore and develop effective strategies to address a wide range of clinical presentations including, and not limited to, trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, behavioural challenges, social and emotional difficulties, relationships, adjustment problems, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disorders.
Vanessa is trained in conducting comprehensive assessments for developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cognitive abilities encompassing intelligence, memory, and learning difficulties, specific learning disorders, academic achievements, emotional and behavioural assessments, personality, vocational, victims of crime, NDIS applications, and the diagnosis of various mental disorders.
