Helping You Navigate Life’s Challenges
Life can be complex, and it’s normal to experience periods of stress, low mood, or uncertainty. However, this doesn’t mean you need to manage these moments alone.
At TT Psychology, our adult and young adult psychology services are designed to help you in the way you need. If you want to understand your experiences, gain clarity, and develop practical tools, we aim to help with evidence-based therapy and our warm, collaborative approach.
Ways We Explore Your Experience
Your therapy is personalised to your needs, goals, and preferences. Depending on your circumstances, this may include evidence-based approaches such as:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT):
Assisting you in identifying and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and building new, more adaptive patterns.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT):
Supporting you in your journey to accept difficult emotions, clarify your values, and take meaningful action in your life.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy:
Cultivating awareness of the present moment in an effort to reduce stress, regulate emotions, and improve overall resilience.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT):
Teaching practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and building healthier interpersonal relationships.
Motivational Interviewing:
Helping you explore and strengthen your motivation for change, especially when making difficult decisions or shifts.
Talk Therapy (Psychotherapy):
Using open, empathic dialogue to explore your experiences in an effort to gain insight and build self-understanding.
Family Therapy:
When helpful, we support families aiming to improve communication, resolve conflict, and build stronger relationships.
Internal Family Systems
Understand your reactions, calm inner conflict, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Have a Question?
How does therapy work?
Therapy at TT Psychology is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. Each session combines discussion, reflection, and practical strategies to help you understand your experiences, work through challenges, and develop skills that you can apply in daily life.
What should I expect from therapy?
Our services are highly personalised. Our clinicians combine evidence-based therapy with collaborative goal-setting to ensure your treatment is tailored to your unique needs. Key elements include:
- Initial session to understand your goals, strengths, and challenges
- Personalised treatment outlining therapy approaches, strategies, and practical exercises
- Ongoing review of your progress, with adjustments as needed to keep you moving forward
- Practical strategies and coping tools that can be applied in your everyday life
How often do sessions occur?
Most patients attend therapy weekly or fortnightly at the beginning, depending on their goals and needs. Then, as you progress, the frequency of your sessions will reduce. Together with your therapist, you will discuss the best schedule for you and adjust it as required.
Can I do therapy via telehealth?
Yes, we offer both face to face and also secure telehealth sessions for patients who prefer or require online appointments. With this, we aim to make it easier to access therapy from a space that you’re comfortable with.
What are the session fees, and are rebates available?
We are committed to offering transparent pricing and always discuss this with our patients upfront. Many psychology sessions are also eligible for Medicare or private health insurance rebates. For more information on our fee structure and rebates, please see our Fees page.
Is the information I share confidential?
Yes, everything you discuss in therapy is kept private and confidential, in line with professional ethical standards. Your clinician will explain any exceptions to confidentiality at the beginning of your journey with us, so you feel fully informed and safe sharing your experiences.
