TT Psychology offers a range of assessment services for individuals of all ages. These include child and adult ADHD and Autism assessments as well as developmental and cognitive delay, specific learning disorders, learning difficulties, school readiness, giftedness and academic/learning assessments.
All patients will have an initial consultation.
This will either be for adults or parents of children who are having the assessment. Each assessment is specifically tailored for the individual.
After the initial patient consultation, the specific assessments needed are confirmed by the therapist and we will contact you with the full fee and appointments to be made.
The duration and number of appointments depend on the assessment type. This fee also includes report writing.
The assessment report is given to the patient in this feedback consultation.
This will either be for the adult or parents of a child who has completed the assessment.
Autism is a neurodiversity and may impact how a person thinks, feels, interacts with other and experiences their environment. Individuals with Autism may have sensitivities to sensory stimuli, have specific interests and may engage in repetitive patterns of behaviours.
A comprehensive Autism assessment identifies whether an individual meets the criteria for a diagnosis, as well as taking the time to explore and understand how the individual experiences their world in order to support them in accessing the best intervention.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodiversity and may impact how a person thinks, feels, interacts with other and experiences their environment. Individuals with the inattentive component have difficulty with maintaining concentration, remaining organised, and may be easily distracted. Individuals with the hyperactive/impulsive component may have trouble sitting still, waiting their turn, and often need to fidget or talk.
A comprehensive ADHD assessment explores whether an individual meets the criteria for a diagnosis and whether they exhibit a predominantly inattentive, hyperactive/impulsive, or combined presentation.
You can read more about our ADHD assessments here.
A comprehensive learning assessment explores an individual’s current academic performance in the areas of maths, reading, writing, spelling, listening, and oral language. Results indicate whether an individual has learning difficulties and whether they meet criteria for a diagnosis of a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD).
You can read more about our academic/learning assessments here.
Involves a comprehensive exploration of an individual’s cognitive abilities, for example their ability to reason, their working memory, and their processing speed. Results provide information on the individual’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses which can be used to help support them at school, work, and university and aid in the identification of intellectual disability, giftedness, school readiness and other learning and developmental challenges.
