Registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar
Storm is a registered psychologist currently completing the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. She brings extensive experience from working in a range of psychiatric and hospital and community settings, with a particular passion for supporting young people and their families through behavioural, emotional, and developmental challenges. Storm is dedicated to addressing the often-overlooked barriers that neurodivergent individuals encounter in their everyday lives.
Taking a systemic and collaborative approach to therapy, Storm recognises that challenges rarely exist in isolation. She works closely with caregivers, families, parents, and couples to explore the broader dynamics contributing to a young person’s difficulties. Her therapeutic style is flexible and integrative, drawing on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). All of her work is grounded in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed principles of care.
A central focus of Storm’s practice is supporting parents. She understands that parenting today can feel overwhelming, with many families navigating complexities that previous generations did not face. Storm approaches every family with the belief that parents are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Through a neurodivergent and trauma-informed lens, Storm provides compassionate and practical support for parents who may feel burnt out, at a loss, or unsure of how to manage difficult behaviours and challenges faced by young people today. Her goal is to help parents regain a sense of confidence and control, while equipping children and adolescents with the emotional and behavioural skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex world.
With a foundation in family therapy and behavioural intervention, Storm has supported children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of concerns, including emotional regulation difficulties, neurodiversity and challenging behaviours. her research interests have focused on ADHD and disordered eating, with a particular emphasis on binge eating.motional and behavioural skills they need to navigate a complex and rapidly changing world.
