Collaborating With You, For Them
Parenting is deeply rewarding. It can also be exhausting, confusing, emotional and overwhelming.
At TT Psychology, our parenting support is designed for you (the parent or carer). It’s a space where your experiences, concerns and questions are taken seriously.
Whether you’re navigating behavioural challenges, emotional regulation, school pressures, neurodiversity, family change or simply wondering if what you are doing is ‘right’, you don’t have to work it out alone. We support parents with clarity, compassion and practical guidance.
How We Aim to Support Parents
Parent sessions
Private sessions for parents or carers to talk openly, ask questions, and explore strategies in a safe, respectful space.
Understanding your child
We help you better understand your child’s emotional world, communication style, behaviour, and needs, without blame or assumptions.
Practical strategies
You’ll receive tools you can actually use at home, including support for routines, boundaries, emotional regulation, transitions, and communication.
Emotional support for parents
Parenting can bring guilt, frustration, grief, fear, and self-doubt. We support your emotional well-being alongside your parenting role.
Support across life stages
From early childhood to teenage years and beyond, parenting support evolves with your family.
Neurodiversity-affirming guidance
We provide informed, respectful support for parents of autistic children, children with ADHD, learning differences, or complex needs.
Is it Right for You?
Parenting support may be helpful if you are:
- Feeling unsure how to respond to your child’s emotions or behaviour
- Navigating school, social, or developmental concerns
- Parenting a neurodivergent child
- Managing separation, blended families, or family change
- Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsupported
- Wanting reassurance, clarity, or new strategies
- Simply wanting to be the best parent you can be
You don’t need to be at ‘breaking point’ to seek support. Many parents come simply because they want guidance, perspective, and reassurance.

Answering Your Parenting Questions
Can you help new parents?
Yes, absolutely. Becoming a parent brings joy, uncertainty, identity shifts, exhaustion, and emotional change. We support new parents as they adjust, find confidence in their role, and navigate this new chapter with care and understanding.
I want to talk about parenting and my own challenges that don’t relate to parenting. Is that okay?
Of course. You are more than just a parent. We welcome conversations about your emotional well-being, relationships, stress, identity, or anything else that matters to you.
I want some support, but I don’t bring my child to the clinic. Can you help?
Yes. Parenting support does not require your child to attend. These sessions are about supporting you, your experience, and your role as a parent or carer.
Ready to Take the First Step?
Parenting is not about perfection. It’s about care, connection, and learning along the way. If you’re looking for support that respects your experience, understands your challenges, and helps you move forward with confidence, we’re here to walk alongside you. Book your appointment today.
