Tools Utilised in an ADHD Assessment
- WISC-V / WPPSI-IV: These assessments explore a range of cognitive abilities, including memory and processing speed, in children aged 2+ and adults.
- BASC-3: This behavioural assessment gathers information about emotional and behavioural patterns from the perspectives of the individual, parents and teachers.
- ACE / ACE+: A structured interview process is used to support ADHD assessment, with ACE for children and ACE+ for adults.
- Conners 3: This set of rating scales assesses ADHD symptoms in young people aged 6–18 using parent, teacher and self-assessment versions.
Fees and Rebates for ADHD Assessments
Our comprehensive ADHD Assessment has a base fee of $1,445. If further testing is recommended, additional costs may apply, and we will outline all fees following the initial appointment. Available rebates may include:

Booking Process
We’ve designed our booking process to make accessing ADHD assessment services clear, simple and easy to navigate.
Initial Appointment (50 minutes)
The assessment process begins with an initial appointment for adults or for parents arranging an assessment for their child. This session is $300 and may be eligible for a Medicare or private health insurance rebate.
Assessment Confirmation
Following the initial appointment, we confirm which assessments are required and provide a detailed estimate of the associated fees. Costs, including report preparation, vary depending on the complexity of the evaluation.
Assessment Appointments
Formal assessment is completed during these appointments, with the clinician guiding the individual through a series of standardised tests. Online questionnaires may also be provided to collect additional information for the evaluation.
Feedback Appointment (50 minutes)
During the feedback consultation, your psychologist will talk through the results, explain the recommendations and discuss what may come next. This appointment is $300 and may be claimable through Medicare or private health insurance, depending on eligibility.
