Multiple Assessment Appointments

Professional Report Writing

Tools Utilised in an ADHD Assessment
- WISC-V / WPPSI-IV: These cognitive assessment tools evaluate areas such as memory, processing speed and other cognitive abilities in children aged 2+ and adults.
- BASC-3: Behavioural assessment information is collected from the individual, parents and teachers to provide insight into emotional and behavioural experiences across settings.
- ACE / ACE+: A structured interview process is used to support ADHD assessment, with ACE for children and ACE+ for adults.
- Conners 3: A series of rating scales used to assess ADHD symptoms in children aged 6–18, with versions completed by parents, teachers and the young person.
Understanding ADHD Assessment Fees and Rebates
The base fee for our comprehensive ADHD Assessment is $1,445. Additional fees may apply depending on the specific assessments required, with a clear breakdown provided after the initial appointment. Rebates may be available as follows:
Medicare Rebates
Some patients may be eligible for Medicare rebates. Contact us to discuss what may apply to you.
Private Health Insurance
Private health rebates may be available for the initial and feedback sessions if your policy includes psychology cover. Please check with your health fund or contact us for more information.
Additional Rebates
Patients under 25 may be eligible for Medicare rebates on selected assessment sessions. Contact our team for more information.
Booking Process
We aim to make the ADHD assessment booking process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
Initial Appointment (50 minutes)
The first step is an initial appointment for adults or parents seeking an assessment for their child. The fee is $300 with Medicare or private health rebates potentially available depending on eligibility.
Assessment Confirmation
Once the initial appointment is complete, we confirm the assessments needed and provide a comprehensive estimate of fees. The total cost, including report preparation, will depend on the complexity of the assessment process.
Assessment Appointments
Formal assessment is completed during these appointments, with the clinician guiding the individual through a series of standardised tests. Online questionnaires may also be provided to collect additional information for the evaluation.
Feedback Appointment (50 minutes)
The feedback session gives you an opportunity to review the assessment findings with your psychologist, discuss recommendations and consider the next steps. The fee is $300 , with rebates potentially available through Medicare or private health insurance.
